Packaging waste

Glass, hard plastics, metal, cardboard and paper packaging are to be separated from the household waste and dropped off at any of the 20 recycling stations throughout Lidingö.

Paper waste collection

Paper manufacturers — not the city of Lidingö — are responsible for collecting and recycling paper products. Newspapers and paper may be dropped off at any recycling station.

If you live in a house, you can subscribe a newspaper collection service. The newspapers are collected 11 times per year.

In some blocks of flats, the property owner has signed agreements on waste paper collection. If that is the case, this waste can be disposed of in a designated area directly on the property.
