Medical waste
You are not allowed to dispose of medicine and medical waste along with the household waste. This waste should be dropped off at a pharmacy. Used cannulae should be kept in a container, which you can pick up at the pharmacy.
When the container is full, it can be returned to the pharmacy. It is important that cannulae do not end up in the household waste to avoid injuring the garbage collectors.
Drop your medical waste off at one of the two pharmacies in Lidingö: at Lidingö Centre or Lidingö Hospital.
