Mother-tongue tuition

Some children grow up in families where the mother tongue is not Swedish. These children are entitled to receive mother-tongue tuition.
 
To be able to receive mother-tongue tuition, at least one parent or guardian must have a mother tongue other than Swedish, and the language must often be used in the household.
 
The national minority languages, Finnish, Sami, Meänkieli, JiddishandRomany Chib, have enhanced rights.
