Recreation for persons with disabilities
The Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (or LSS, as the Act is abbreviated in Swedish) gives people with disabilities the right to receive help and support in various forms.
The city of Lidingö offers various types of supervision and recreation activities that are aimed specifically at persons with disabilities. The aim is to include services for persons with disabilities as much as possible in the city´s ordinary activities.
Contact your LSS officer for more information. Describe your child´s needs and your wishes. The LSS officer decides whether your child is entitled to any of the activities.
